Partners have now completed work on the Street-to-Home evidence base (Work Stream 5) The key task of this work stream is to widen the evidence base by drawing information from EU countries not represented in the partnership. This involved desk-based research to identify existing projects, policy and initiatives in operation for the target group of women with multiple needs. Telephone interviews with key stakeholders were also undertaken. The work stream also identifies examples of best practice in a further two EU countries not represented in the current partnership. Project partners from five countries across Europe (UK, Germany, Bulgaria, Spain and Norway) have looked in detail at the support needs of vulnerable women in their countries and developed an evidence base using examples of best practice and in-depth interviews with women. Individual national reports, one of the major deliverables of the From Street to Home project, have now been completed that summarize current provision. The UK partners have completed an evaluation of the Midland Heart and Anawim partnership, which is one of the major objectives of the From Street to Home project. The Anawim/Midland Heart informal agreement was identified as a potential model of good practice and suitable as an evaluation case study. The report is available for download in PDF format below.

At the second partner meeting in Bergen, partners presented preliminary findings from their research to date that focused on the situation in their countries. The UK partner also provided an update on the service evaluation taking place and prompted discussion about further project deliverables including the dissemination events and production of the EU Vision Document.
